Tholotis: A Minimalistic Wallpaper Customization App
Tholotis is a free Android app developed by Chris Basha that allows you to blur, dim, and save your wallpapers. The app offers a simple and minimalistic design that makes it easy to use. You can pick your current wallpaper or select one from the gallery and apply blur and dim effects. The app also offers a paid feature that lets you tint your wallpaper in your favorite colors.
One of the most unique features of Tholotis is BackDrop™, an algorithm that produces pixel-perfect wallpaper optimization. You can also crop and rotate your image and set it as your wallpaper or save it to the gallery. Additionally, you can share your customized wallpaper with others.
Tholotis is a transliteration of the Greek word "θολότης", which means "blur". The app uses some graphic resources from Roman Nurik's open-source app, Muzei. However, please note that development is currently on hiatus, and no purchases will be refunded.
